Payroll Accountant - International Call Centre

Great opportunity for a qualified Payroll/HR Admin expert in Barcelona! Be a part of this reputable project! Client Details International Call Center Description * Registration/deregistration of employees at social security and in payroll program
* Monthly payroll (in compliance with cost center policy)
* Exit calculations
* Provide payroll slips to employees
* Submission of exit documents and records to terminated employees
* Statutory required declarations (e.g. wage tax/social security contributions) (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
* Submission of EFT data to Accountant (salaries, taxes and social security contributions)
* Submission of payroll journal entry to Accountant for booking in general ledger
* Reconciliation of payroll accounts together with Accountant
* Garnishment of wages: Administration, payments and filing
* Calculation of accruals: vacation, flexible time program, supplementary grant, training agreement, bonus accruals
* Administration and handling of long leave (e.g. maternity, sickness)
* Data maintenance in payroll program (e.g. vacation consumption, address change, salary change)
* Giving information on employee requests: employment/salary certification, forms for family allowance/maternity leave
* Giving support to Call Center Management for all kinds of payroll related questions
* Delivering compensation costs for forecasts
* Filing Profile * 2-3 years experience as Payroll Accountant

Experience with payroll calculations and payroll systems

Experience with local labour law and taxation of compensation and social charges
*

Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel)

Good English skills
